A Fresh Approach To Capital Lending

At Fresh Thinking Capital, our aim is to support entrepreneurs and the vision they have for their businesses. We believe a different approach to lending and risk is possible when time is taken to understand the people, experience and situations behind a business. We do not rely on numbers in a spreadsheet to dictate our decisions. Instead, we use our expertise and your unique qualities to assess the opportunities ahead.

So, whether you know exactly what your business needs are, or you are looking for guidance on financial support that will make a difference, we can work with you to ensure you have the right facility at the right time.

Our Values

Integrity is at the core of our business, and we approach every loan with the same level of respect. We work with you in an open and honest manner to ensure you are in the position to take our funding, have the means to service the loan and have an eventual exit strategy when you no longer need our financial support. By taking this approach, it ensures we can have a successful and fruitful business relationship together.

Our Lending Criteria

We have a simple process to ensure we understand you and your business. This means we can make timely lending decisions and advance funding within a matter of days – not weeks.

Amount

We lend between £100,000 and £2,000,000 to our clients. At times, we do make exceptions to this if your borrowing needs exceed these amounts. However, this is at the discretion of our directors and will be dependent on your business and its current situation.

Security

We are a secured lender. Unlike some larger institutions, we can keep an open view on the assets we secure against. These could be in or outside the business, commercial or personal. We are also sector agnostic, with no bias toward certain sectors or industries for security or funding perspective.

Term

Generally, our lending period ranges between 1-24 months. As a supportive lender, we realise that in business, your circumstances may change, and therefore your borrowing timescales may need to reflect this. We work with our clients to understand situations, and if the funding remains correct for the business, we can work with you at the discretion of our directors to extend a loan.

Our Lending Process

We have a simple process to ensure we understand you and your business. This means we can make timely lending decisions and advance funding within a matter of days – not weeks.

Stage 1

We aim to meet potential clients as soon as possible to discuss their opportunity and, on receiving the necessary paperwork, issue Heads of terms within 48 hours of meeting the borrower.

Stage 3
